Why Do the Major Studios Hate the Little Guy

My family and I have just started a small business, I'm sure anyone who reads this will wonder why a person in there right mind would start a business in Michigan with the economy in the trash can. When it's a great opportunity, you have to try. Our business name is DISC-GO DVD RENTAL, we rent DVD's and Games. We are an authorized DVDNow Kiosk Distributor, we have 4 Kiosks in operation at this time. We price our DVD's at .99 the first night, then $1.99 the second, a great value for the consumer! We carry only new releases. When we first got started in our new business we could get all the new release titles from our distributor, then the studios started putting pressure on the distributor to hold the titles back 30 t0 45 day or they would pull their brand from the distributor. We manage to keep all the new titles in our machine, we buy the movies retail the day of the release. It looks to me that the major studios are trying to do the same thing the music industry tried to do years ago, hold value priced music downloads back from the consumer, we all see where that got them!! I truly believe that the DVD Rental Kiosk is here to stay and will continue to be a great value to the consumer. We at DISC-GO plan to keep bringing the consumer great movies and a great value!!!!!
